Nitin Nabin to Lead BJP’s ‘Loktantra Bachao, Arajakta Hatao’ March in Rohtak on November 1

Nitin Nabin to Lead BJP’s ‘Loktantra Bachao, Arajakta Hatao’ March in Rohtak on November 1
The BJP and the INDIA bloc are set to take their political campaigns to the streets on November 1, with both sides planning separate demonstrations in the National Capital Region. BJP national president Nitin Nabin will lead a march in Haryana’s Rohtak, while the Opposition alliance is scheduled to hold its ‘Chalo Dilli’ rally at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi over alleged irregularities in electoral rolls.

The BJP has named its Rohtak programme ‘Loktantra Bachao, Arajakta Hatao’ (Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy). Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and other state BJP leaders are also expected to participate in the march, which will be led by Nabin.

BJP Plans Counter-Mobilisation in Rohtak

The BJP’s announcement comes as the INDIA bloc prepares to intensify its campaign over alleged manipulation and irregularities in voter lists. By organising a parallel programme on the same day, the BJP is also preparing to put forward its political message on democracy and the ongoing electoral debate.

The Rohtak march is expected to bring together senior state leaders and party workers under the BJP’s banner. The programme will be led by Nabin, who took charge as the party’s national president earlier this year.

INDIA Bloc to Hold ‘Chalo Dilli’ Rally at Ramlila Maidan

The INDIA bloc’s November 1 rally is part of its protest against alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. The Opposition has also been demanding action against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has appealed to people to join the march in Delhi. The planned route will begin at the Minto Road junction near Connaught Place, pass through Ajmeri Gate and conclude at Ramlila Maidan. The march is scheduled to begin at noon.

Electoral Roll Revision at the Centre of Political Tussle

The two programmes reflect the growing political confrontation between the BJP and Opposition parties over the electoral roll revision process. While the INDIA bloc is seeking to draw public attention to its allegations against the SIR exercise and the Election Commission, the BJP is organising its own mobilisation under the theme of protecting democracy and opposing anarchy.

With both sides holding major programmes on the same day, November 1 is set to see competing political messages across Rohtak and Delhi.
