EaseMyTrip Denies Links to Mahadev Betting App After ED Raids in Ongoing Probe

New Delhi, April 17, 2025 — Popular online travel company EaseMyTrip has officially denied any links to the controversial Mahadev Betting App, after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids at the company’s premises as part of its ongoing probe into illegal online betting operations.

The ED has been investigating the Mahadev Betting App for its alleged involvement in illegal online gambling and money laundering. As part of the wider crackdown, the financial crime agency recently conducted searches at multiple locations across the country, including premises related to EaseMyTrip.

In response, the company released a public statement distancing itself from the betting app and any associated activities. “EaseMyTrip has no connection whatsoever with the Mahadev App or its operations. We are fully compliant with all legal requirements and are cooperating with the authorities,” the statement said.

EaseMyTrip’s founders and top executives have also emphasized their commitment to ethical business practices and maintaining the company's reputation as a trusted travel service provider.

The Mahadev Betting App has been under scrutiny for allegedly running a multi-crore illegal betting network with links to several high-profile individuals and entities. The ED’s investigation continues, and more names are expected to surface in the coming weeks.

As the probe intensifies, EaseMyTrip’s swift clarification aims to reassure customers, investors, and partners of its transparent operations and clear disassociation from the betting scandal.
