Rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra’s battery have been circulating for months. Some leaks suggested it would exceed the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s 5,000 mAh capacity, while others indicated no change. A new report from China now claims the S26 Ultra will feature a 5,200 mAh battery.
While the upgrade is minimal, it would mark the first increase in battery capacity after several Ultra models stuck to 5,000 mAh. However, this leak contradicts an August Chinese certification listing the S26 Ultra with a 4,855 mAh rated capacity — translating to a typical 5,000 mAh battery.
With conflicting information, more evidence is needed before the battery specs can be confirmed.
As for charging, earlier leaks suggest the Galaxy S26 Ultra may support 60W wired and 25W wireless charging, compared to the 45W wired and 15W wireless speeds of the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
