Speaking at the Youth Skill Festival organised under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana, Sawant said financial limitations should not prevent students from building their future. He emphasised that the government was willing to support those who were keen to learn and develop skills but lacked the resources to do so.
Government Support Through Skill Development Scheme
The Chief Minister highlighted the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana as an important initiative to help young people access training and improve their employment prospects.
He said a dedicated support mechanism was being put in place through the Rural Development Agency (RDA) to coordinate funding and facilitate assistance for eligible candidates.
Sawant Urges Youth to Take Initiative
Sawant’s message to students was that willingness to learn should be the starting point, rather than concern over the cost of education or training. He encouraged young people not to remain at home or abandon their ambitions due to financial constraints.
The assurance reflects the government’s focus on connecting rural youth with skill development opportunities and making training more accessible. The Chief Minister reiterated that those ready to make an effort would receive financial support from the state.
