B.L. Santosh Says RSS Has Capacity to Address National Issues, Calls for Hindu Unity
BJP National Organisational Secretary B.L. Santosh said the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has the organisational strength and grassroots presence to address a wide range of social and national challenges. Speaking at the RSS Vijayadashami March in Nanjangud, Karnataka, on Sunday, he highlighted the organisation’s role in society and called for greater unity among Hindus.

Santosh argued that the RSS’s presence and work at the grassroots could help prevent unlawful activities and address problems affecting communities. He also said the organisation had developed a strong foundation in spiritual, cultural and religious knowledge, enabling it to respond to intellectual criticism from within India and abroad.

Santosh Calls for Greater Unity Among Hindus

During his address, Santosh urged Hindus to set aside their differences and work together. He said a united Hindu community could help respond to several challenges facing society and the wider world.

He also emphasised the RSS’s organisational strength, presenting it as an institution built around cultural values and a nationwide network of volunteers. His remarks placed particular emphasis on unity, discipline and the role of social organisations in addressing public concerns.

Suttur Seer Praises RSS Discipline and Service

Suttur Mutt seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji, who also addressed the gathering, praised the RSS for its punctuality, time management and discipline.

He highlighted the organisation’s service activities, saying they help promote patriotism, positive thinking and leadership qualities among young people. He also stressed that a country’s development should not be measured by intellectual progress alone, but should include cultural strength.

According to the seer, the RSS works towards building a nation that is both intellectually capable and culturally rooted.
