A congregation of prominent Hindu saints and spiritual leaders in Gurugram on Sunday called for stronger efforts to promote Sanatan Dharma and expand social awareness around what they described as India’s cultural and spiritual heritage. The gathering, held at the Vishva Shanti Kendra, witnessed extensive discussions on religious values, social harmony and the future role of spiritual institutions in society.
The meeting was led by Rishikesh-based spiritual leader Lokesh Das Maharaj, who brought together several respected religious figures from different traditions. Participants said the event focused on strengthening outreach initiatives and encouraging greater engagement with Sanatan values among younger generations.
Among those present were Dharmadev Maharaj, Lokesh Muni Maharaj, Pramod Krishnam and Deepankar Ji, along with Nakal Kishore Maharaj and other religious scholars.
According to attendees, the discussions went beyond religious practices and touched upon the role of spiritual leadership in addressing contemporary social challenges. Several speakers highlighted the importance of preserving cultural traditions while adapting to changing times through education, service and community engagement.

Participants described the interaction as intellectually enriching and said the exchange of ideas reinforced their commitment to promoting Sanatan Dharma through peaceful and constructive means. Many of the saints expressed the view that spiritual institutions should play a greater role in fostering social unity, moral values and cultural awareness.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the assembled religious leaders collectively resolved to dedicate their efforts toward strengthening Sanatan traditions and expanding public awareness of their teachings. Organisers said similar interactions may be held in the future to encourage dialogue among spiritual leaders and coordinate initiatives focused on cultural and social development.
