Vidya Bharati Unveils New Education Vision at All India Press Conference in Delhi

New Delhi witnessed a significant education-focused gathering on Monday as Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan presented its future roadmap during the All India Press Conference 2026 held at Mahashay Chunnilal Saraswati Bal Mandir Senior Secondary School in Hari Nagar. The event brought together education leaders, media representatives, and organizational members to discuss the evolving direction of value-based education and nation-building through academic initiatives.

At a time when debates around the National Education Policy and cultural-rooted learning are gaining momentum, the organization used the platform to highlight its growing presence and long-term educational vision. The press conference focused on strengthening India-centric education, expanding grassroots learning initiatives, and preparing students to face global challenges while staying connected to cultural values.

Addressing the gathering, All India General Secretary Deshraj Sharma emphasized that education must reflect India’s traditions and heritage while preparing students for modern-day realities. He noted that Vidya Bharati aims to create a generation that is culturally aware, socially responsible, and academically strong, contributing meaningfully to nation-building.

The organization shared that it currently operates around 24,000 formal and informal institutions across India, reaching more than 33 lakh students with the support of over 1.5 lakh teachers. Through thousands of Sanskar Kendras, free foundational education is being provided to underprivileged children, helping them gain basic literacy and integrate into mainstream education. Special attention is also being given to rural, tribal, and remote regions through single-teacher schools and community-based learning initiatives.

Vidya Bharati highlighted its holistic education approach, which includes yoga, physical education, Sanskrit, music, moral values, and mother-tongue-based learning through the Panchpadi teaching method. The organization also informed that 507 schools have established Atal Tinkering Labs to promote scientific thinking and innovation among students.

Looking ahead, the institution announced its Annual General Meeting from April 3 to April 6 in Delhi, where around 350 representatives from across the country will discuss future academic strategies and organizational plans aimed at strengthening education at the grassroots level.
