Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has urged the state’s young population to make discipline, physical fitness and a strong sense of purpose part of their daily lives. In a message addressed to the people of Uttar Pradesh, the Chief Minister said the energy and talent of young people would be central to building a developed state.
With the government focusing increasingly on youth, skills and employment opportunities, Adityanath called on teenagers and young people to make full use of the opportunities available to them. He also stressed that personal growth and nation-building should go hand in hand, describing the youth as Uttar Pradesh’s “biggest capital”.
In his letter, the Chief Minister congratulated the people of the state on achieving the target of hoisting the Tricolour at five crore homes under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. He used the occasion to connect the spirit of patriotism with the responsibilities of the younger generation.
Addressing young people directly, Adityanath said the responsibility of moving from self-development to nation-building rests largely on their shoulders. According to him, the energy, talent, discipline and determination of young people can play a decisive role in turning the vision of a developed Uttar Pradesh into reality.
The Chief Minister said the state government was working to create as many opportunities as possible for young people to move ahead. He urged teenagers and youth not to let these opportunities pass by and instead use them to build their skills, confidence and future.
Adityanath also placed particular emphasis on physical fitness. He encouraged young people to incorporate yoga and regular exercise into their daily routines, linking a healthy body and disciplined lifestyle with the ability to pursue larger goals.
He said strong determination can help people overcome even difficult challenges and achieve ambitious targets. For the younger generation, he suggested that personal ambitions should be connected with the wider objective of contributing to society and the nation.
The message comes at a time when youth-related issues, including employment, skills, education and opportunities for entrepreneurship, have become an important part of public policy discussions in Uttar Pradesh. The Chief Minister’s appeal places the responsibility not only on the government to provide opportunities but also on young people to actively use them.
Adityanath’s message also sought to give a broader meaning to the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign by linking participation in the national campaign with civic responsibility and the contribution of young citizens.
Calling youth the state’s greatest asset, the Chief Minister said their potential must be directed towards constructive goals. He urged them to combine energy with discipline and determination, arguing that this combination would be essential for building the Uttar Pradesh envisioned as a developed state.
